FAQ´s

1. Is lithium orotate safe?

At supplemental doses of 5 to 20mg, lithium orotate has no documented safety concerns in the published literature. It is classified as a dietary supplement and is available over the counter. This is fundamentally different from prescription lithium carbonate, which requires medical supervision at doses 100 to 300 times higher.

2. Will it interact with my medication?

Lithium orotate at supplemental doses is generally well tolerated. However, if you are taking prescription medications, especially psychiatric medications, diuretics, or NSAIDs, consult your doctor before starting.

3. How quickly will I notice a difference?

Most users report initial changes, particularly in sleep quality and mental calm, within the first week. Emotional and cognitive benefits typically develop over two to six weeks.

4. Is this the same as prescription lithium? No.

Same element, completely different dose, form, and application. Prescription lithium carbonate is 900 to 1800mg for severe psychiatric conditions. Lithium orotate is 5 to 20mg as a trace mineral supplement.

5. Can I take it long term?

Yes. Lithium is a naturally occurring trace mineral that the human body has consumed through water and food for thousands of years. Supplementing at trace doses is restoring a natural intake level, not introducing something foreign.

6. Why have I never heard of this before?

Lithium cannot be patented. It is a natural element. Without patent protection, there is no financial incentive for pharmaceutical companies to fund large scale clinical trials or marketing campaigns. The research exists. It just does not have a billion dollar marketing budget behind it.
